I have always been associated with education & studying and I enjoy being in that environment. I gained Higher Qualifications in Hindi and Teaching. I have spent a good amount of time in learning & teaching.

I work well under pressure either as a part of team or independently. I am energetic, enthusiastic and punctual. I believe in maintaining an up to date record of my work and producing comprehensive and clear reports, I have a non-judgemental attitude and love to teach students of different backgrounds. I respect individuality and confidentiality. I also believe in good practice, sharing information and taking regular supervision.

Teaching is my passion and the Hindi language has been the area of my personal interest since my school days. I have always enjoyed learning and teaching this subject. I am skilled in designing and delivering well co-ordinated programmes for each student. I have good IT skills. I always take account of instructional strategies and materials. I believe in setting small challenging and achievable goals so that each student remains interested and active in carrying out assignments. I focus on creating a stimulating learning environment. I have deep understanding and expertise in the field of communication and teaching at every level. I treat students and colleagues with due respect by being sincere and genuine. I try to create an atmosphere of trust and allow students to act naturally, express themselves honestly and develop understanding of the subject matter. I have worked as a Hindi teacher for two years in a community school in India.

I am a sister, a wife and a daughter from a loving family.  I got married two years ago and moved to the UK with my husband who is working locally for NHS. I am happy to live in this part of the world and enjoy the beauty and nature of the north-east of England. I am presently enjoying writing my third book, learning to paint with water-colours and making home improvements.

I am polite, smiling, approachable, well organised and have a good sense of humour. I also have great interest in language, literature, reading and writing. I am a poet and a writer.

My two books have been published before I migrated to the UK.

(2)  Pratiksha—A Collection of my Hindi poems.

I can work flexible hours and from home. I have a clean driving licence and a car.
