Through my work I have also gained excellent communication skills in numerous talks and meetings.

Organisational skills and competences

I can work independently but I am also a good team-player with a lot of experience in project and team management as I coordinated a Comenius 1 school project. I therefore worked together with teachers and students from 4 countries organising project meetings, excursions, talks, etc.

It was due to my assiduity and devotion to work that we were able to carry out that project which I coordinated for 3 years.

While working as a teacher I organize and supervise different extra curricular activities: (e. g.: language weeks, project weeks, school outings and also official evenings and open days).

I am a self-starter who quickly assumes responsibility and is not afraid to face new challenges and to work hard. I have always been very efficient in my approach to work and accomplish tasks with great initiative and with a very positive attitude.

It was due to my initiative that we could successfully introduce English as a working language in Geography at my present workplace.

My present position requires me to work in a team as well as independently. I have to deal with different unexpected problems and respond to them quickly. It is also necessary to keep to strict deadlines and work under pressure.

Having spent over 20 years teaching at both state and boarding schools I have a very good understanding of administrative systems.

My secondary education included accountancy and office administration.

As part of my secondary education I also gained a certificate in hospitality.

Furthermore I worked at a bank before starting my university education.
